Update installation instructions for Apache Solr
Also renaming of conf/context.xml to conf/solr.xml. The name of the file is relevant to access the installation in Tomcat. It might be tricky since the Solr has it’s own solr.xml for configuration purposes, but the name of the file is relevant for Tomcat to generate the path in the URL to access the installation. Was: context.xml -> localhost:8080/context Now: solr.xml -> localhost:8080/solr That wasn’t clear in the old instruction.

1. Make sure you have Apache Tomcat 6 up and running. Download Solr 3.6.1
from http://lucene.apache.org/solr/. Using later versions may be
possible, but is not tested.
from http://lucene.apache.org/solr/. Other versions up until Solr 5.0 might be possible but are not tested.
As of Solr 5.0, Solr is no longer distributed as a "war" and has to be deployed as a standalone java server application.
2. Apply the patches in patches/* to the respective files and build Solr.
3. Copy solr.xml and conf/* to /home/solr and confirm overwriting the
existing files. Then move the Solr WAR file to /home/solr and rename it
to "apache-solr-for-kitodo.war" or change the "docBase" value in
conf/context.xml accordingly.
3. Create a working directory for your solr installation ($SOLR_HOME)
4. Add the roles "dlfSolrUpdate" and "dlfSolrAdmin" and at least one user
3. Copy the solr.xml and conf/* to $SOLR_HOME. Move the compiled Solr WAR file to $SOLR_HOME as well.
4. Adjust $SOLR_HOME and the name of your .war in conf/solr.xml accordingly.
Defaults are `$SOLR_HOME = home/solr` and `apache-solr-for-kitodo.war`
5. Add the roles "dlfSolrUpdate" and "dlfSolrAdmin" and at least one user
with both roles to Tomcat's tomcat-users.xml file.
5. Load the application by using conf/context.xml as Tomcat's context file.
6. Symlink or place the file conf/solr.xml in $CATALINA_HOME/conf/Catalina/localhost/.
6. Restart Tomcat and go for it!
7. Restart Tomcat and the solr installation should be available at http://localhost:8080/solr
